but jail updates

Bourbon County is conscious about the environment.  We have a recycling program to allow citizens to take certain items to a recycling center on Saturdays.  The following items are accepted:

Newspaper
Magazines
Cardboard
Aluminum Cans
Plastic Bottles (no lids)

Items must be separated by type and no plastic bags are allowed.  Also, please do not use the recycling program for trash.

The recycling trailers travel on Saturdays to cities in Bourbon County and are in Fort Scott the third Saturday of each month.  Here is the schedule for 2012.  Times are 8:00 am - Noon.
